Breakfast Time!

I try to eat protein for every meal, so for breakfast I like to use peanut butter!

This is just an idea for breakfast or a snack!

  • 1 tortilla
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 apples
  • 1 kiwi

Spread peanut butter over tortilla. Slice one apple and kiwi, covering tortilla. Roll the tortilla so that every “layer” has a little bit of fruit. Then slice the apple to eat with your tortilla!

The fruit gives you about 3 servings (2 apples are a little more than 2 servings – 1/2 cup is a serving – plus the kiwi, about 3 servings) of fruits and vegetables. The peanut butter gives you 1 serving of protein and the wrap, 2 servings of grains (1/2 a tortilla is 1 serving).
Which I think is pretty good for breakfast!
