Strawberry & Maple Syrup Face Mask

I bought a bunch of strawberries recently and wanted to make a face mask. I figured they would be perfect to use, as well as some maple syrup and coconut oil.

Maple syrup is anti-bacterial and contains a ton of nutrients. It’s also a great moisturiser – especially when mixed with coconut oil. (If you don’t have coconut oil, you can just use the maple syrup!) Strawberries are also a natural source of salicylic acid which is great for summer face masks/washes.

Strawberry & Maple Syrup Face Mask

· 1 or 2 mashed/blended strawberries
· 1 tsp. maple syrup (try to look for 100% pure maple syrup)
· 1 tsp. coconut oil

Mix all 3 ingredients together, use your judgement to a consistency that you like. Massage onto face, leave 10-30 minutes (or however long you want) and rinse. You could probably use less than that – it makes quite a bit. Although it worked really well as a hand wash too, if you have leftovers!
