A tasty 10-minute recipe!
Being in your early 20s, you’re bound to be poor. At least, I am. So this is a definite budget-friendly recipe that is quick – but not so healthy!
· tortillas (I used whole wheat)
· cinnamon sugar (or cinnamon + sugar)
· coconut/olive oil
Preheat oven to 350F (Which, by the way, I never preheat the oven. I don’t know if anyone else does this, but it heats up pretty quick and it makes little to no difference in times.)
Cut the tortillas in “chip” shapes and brush with oil – you barely need any oil for this, I used olive oil and used less than a cap full – I just dipped a spoon in the bottle cap and brushed over the tortillas.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, or just cinnamon for a slightly healthier version.
Bake for about 6-10 minutes. Knowing your oven is definitely a big help; I usually start mine at 350 then turn it down to 310, after about 5 minutes because the oven gets too hot and they burn easily. The time also varies depending on the temperature and how crispy you want them.
Regardless, this recipe is easy, cheap and a change from the regular potato or apple chip.
I was about to write “Enjoy your Wednesday”, but it’s Thursday now, isn’t it? This week has flown by, I don’t know why. But it’s gone by in a blink.
Enjoy your Thursday!
